Getting back into being slightly motivated at the mo... Went to the city looking for shots the other night with a couple of rolls of black & white film but only shot a handful of frames. Decide Perth is one of the most boring cities in the world to photograph... try and prove me wrong. I'll head to Freo next time, atleast get a few decent shots when I head there + its alsways a bit more interesting. Got hurry up and reply to a request for a profile of myself from the Portable Filem Festival + they want to feature me as an upcoming film maker + Screen Australia want to add my animation to their database too. Struggling for inspiration lately... Need to get out there and back into it. Damn working for a living, I was suposed to be retired by 25, where is a silver spoon when you need one? Just uploaded some stuff from my last Melbourne trip, mainly film this time. Pretty happy with how they turned out. Haven used film for years and the "new/old" camera I got off eBay was suprisingly good. My D70s, on the other hand, seams to be showing signs of its age. I have started working as an Automotive Photographer which is going really well. It combines my love of cars, driving and photography perfectly and I get to write off equipment to tax! Yay! Speaking of which, I have now got a Nikkor 18-200mm VR zoom lens and I'm looking at upgrading the old D70s to something newer soon. But I also have gone the other way too, and I have started shooting film again. I brought an old fully manual Fujica S605N with four Super Takumar prime lenses in various lengths from 35mm to 200mm and it came with an adapter to fit my Nikon all for $120! I have the first 6 rolls sitting in the fridge waiting to be develope
